Companies Will Deliver Games, Technology to Enhance Digital Lottery Offerings
Lottery innovator EQL Games and veteran game development studio Present Creative have entered into an agreement to offer next-generation iLottery content to US and international lottery operators. The agreement supports Present Creative’s entry into the iLottery market by leveraging EQL Games’ extensive lottery network and utilizing its proprietary RGS technology to integrate with lotteries. This agreement also expands EQL Games’ portfolio of games and builds on the company’s mission to deliver content that is novel, engaging, and profitable for lotteries.
“With the growth of sportsbooks and iGaming across the U.S., lotteries are in a heated competition for consumer entertainment dollars,” said EQL Games CEO Brad Cummings. “This has inspired us to broaden our content portfolio to include games outside of the draw and live sports categories. When we met the Present Creative team and saw the games they were building for the iLottery market, we knew we had to work with them. Their unique perspective on designing lottery games fits perfectly within our lottery content strategy.”
Present Creative is based in San Francisco with offices in Portland, Oregon, and Guadalajara, Mexico. The company has been helping to develop casino and iGaming products for blue chip content distributors such as AGS, IGT, Green Jade Games, and greentube. Previously, Present Creative built casual gaming products for industry leaders such as Big Fish, Disney Interactive, EA, GSN, Jam City, and Zynga. It is this dual background of casual gaming and iGaming development that makes Present Creative’s games truly stand out.
“We are excited to team with EQL Games to offer our games to an expanded group of customers in the lottery industry,” said Present Creative CEO Ben Sutherland. “iLottery is one of the most exciting sectors in online gaming because of its growth but more importantly because of its thirst for innovation. Present Creative wants to help lotteries attract and retain customers through offering the best original content available. Working with EQL Games, we know that we can provide customers with games and technology that will drive customer acquisition and revenue.”
This agreement gives Louisville, Kentucky-based EQL Games an expanded content catalog to offer lotteries in the U.S. and abroad through its proprietary RGS technology. Due to the advantages of a modern technology stack, this universal platform allows operators to rapidly deploy multiple game types through a single integration. These game types include eInstant, traditional draw, instant draw, sports lottery, and raffle. The system’s overall development and performance speeds give lotteries unprecedented flexibility in delivering new content to their players so they can remain competitive in an increasingly crowded marketplace.
